Ok found serial number now what is it??

4217873 on engine what year and what it came out of? When i go get spark plugs and engine parts at auto store what year and what was it in do i say??

Ok im sorry, yes same guy,<br />Its a 1974 thunderbird formula, says mercruiser serial number is 4217873. It says GM all over the block.

You've got a 1974 250cid 6 cyl. Chevy/Mercruiser....<br />You should have a Mod.1, or "R" drive, or Pre-Alpha Outdrive......(All the Same)<br />I believe in the 1.65/1 gear ratio.......<br /><br />Go to your local NAPA store,+ Ask the counter Guy for the latest edition of the NAPA Marine Products Catalog...........<br />Mine is part# MSP-7, dated March of 2002.......<br />Price tag says $6.95, But they Should just Give it to you........<br />About Every Part you'll ever need is in it.......
