OK, Ill tell!

Up at Odark 30, still with sleep in my eyes, launching boat by myself. I unstrap averything except the winch line, back the boat in intil it floats, get into the back of the truck and then out to the trailer, undo the winch line. I then push the boat off the trailer, and it comes right back to me, I push it off again, and it comes right back. Hmmmm, I push harder, same thing. Then it dawns on me, I didnt remove the transom saver. The bungee was streaching and then pulling the boat back on the trailer. Pulled out, removed it and launched the boat. Wasnt anyone else up that early so I got away with it.

There were no witnesses to spill the beans, no way to get caught, and no one would have ever known. Like my grandad used to say, "Even a old yellow belly catfish wouldn't get caught if he'd keep his mouth shut". Good one LD.

Thanks all for keeping it a secret. News travels fast, my boss came in this morning and said, "I heard what ya did at the boat ramp"! Not really. <br /><br />Guess I have done most of the clasics, even threw an ancor overboard one time with out a rope tied to it. Still dont know how that happened. If ya boat very long, you are gonna do dumb stuff.

I think that the funniest part is that it took me about three pushes to figure it out. At least two, "WHAT THE f***S", before I finally did.
