Rabbit,<br />Spybot S&D is great in that it both immunizes against and removes the spyware. Ad-Aware I believe is specifically a removal tool in the free version (not 100% sure). It can occasionally cause your anti virus program to go nuts with false alarms, but it is a very effective removal tool. I have used it successfully when Spybot was reluctant to remove EVERY item found without a bit of added hassle. Spyware Blaster is an effective (immunization only) tool I really like to use as well. I find with two or preferrably all three I get really good coverage so long as I keep the updates fairly current. They take little overhead , don't tend to argue, and the price is right. IF I had to chose one I'd go with Spybot, but I suggest all three is even better.
