It is a good thing we snowblow the driveway or the snow banks down the driveway would be higher than the 4 feet they are now!

I am running out of room between the roof and the ground at the wood shed!

Not much snow this year so far. Maybe 12" or so on the ground. Just keep getting nuisance amounts enough to have to shovel.

Yesterday though was the 34th anniversary of the blizzard of 77 in the Niagara area of southern Ontario where I grew up. It was described as the storm of the century. Lasted 4 days and literally buried 100's of vehicles on the highways. Snowmobilers were going along pushing poles thru the snow searching for buried vehicles. Snowdrifts high as the eaves on houses. Wind gusts to over 60mph with windchills in the -30C range that lasted for days. The snowdrifts were packed hard as rocks from the relentless winds. That storm stranded thousands of people and killed 29. To this day, I measure all snowfalls by that standard.

I currently have 78" on the ground and we have lost a lot of snow the last week due to warm temps, but I can say, this year has been an exceptional year for snow accumulation in our neighborhood.

We're at 56", and it refuses to start melting. Should be some interesting flooding on the Red and Rainy Rivers this spring. The piles are high enough the snow blower can't get over them, but the kids are loving it.

We have about 12+ inches on the ground and I hope it stays this way until spring. I'm starting to get a little fed up with supporting the local prop shop each summer. I did in 5 last summer because the water level was so low.

AS the song goes "Let it snow, let it snow!"

We have had about 120'' so far this year. Only 2-3' on the ground right now because of high temps last week. Back in Dec. we had about 5' in four days.
