Thanks for the kind words, the engines was a small V8 putting out 265 HP, it's not a speedster, but as you might be able to tell, has a planing hull.

I am replacing it with 2 115hp Merc outboards. The engine, shaft and rudder were all stolen and going with outboards is much much cheaper than replacing all the inboard components.

that is a big conversion my friend...lotta work.

a 350 gas pot in your area is cheap....look on vancouver cl or seattle.

as far as restoring the rest of the boat........that just looks like a ton of fun to me!.

may i ask....when in the proocess.....upload to photobuckeyt and post your progress/questions here.....would love to see it being done.

gm 5.7 litre gasoline motor.

on the west coast......there should be all the shaft/prop parts you could ever want for cheap !

Oops, I was told by all three marine shops out here that going with an inboard would be much more expensive. I got outboards installed for a total cost of $3900.00, don't think that was too bad.
