Okay, Who did it? (UPDATE)

My wife and I have been plagued by her brother staying at our house. ( mentioned this in another post)

Anyway, a courier knocked on the door last night with an envelope. He wouldn't say who it was from or where. I signed for it and he left. All the envelope had on it was our names. My wife snatched it out of my hand as she thinks I'm totally incapable of opening an envelope .

She opens it and it informs us that we have reservations at a nearby resort. COOL!!!! So,,,,,,Who did it? None of my bosses, friends, or family and especially my stingy BIL doesn't know anything about it. The only other people who knew about my lack of nookie would have been here at Dockside.

Hmmm ... My wife and I have been taking care of her father and my mother almost continuously for the last 5 months. It has really cut down on our husband/wife time.

(thought if it worked for SS it might work for me! You can PM me for my address! )

As stingy as her brother is, the other apple didn't fall far from their family tree as well

He is going to go down to Georgia for a couple of weeks when we get back. Still trying to think who would have gone to the trouble and expense? Most everyone we know lives from paycheck to paycheck. So it had to be someone with an expendable income I would think?

Never underestimate a women who has needs. Perhaps she's been socking away a few bucks each week just for a little bit of sanity.

Either way, sounds like you'll be getting some much needed alone time.

The coolness of this whole thing is that it is on the 11th anniversary of when I proposed to her. It was the weekend of the Ohio State vs Michigan game. Its at the same resort as well.. As long as things go good, I'm not going to complain one bit

One thing is for sure,,,,,,,,,I can't swing from the chandelier like I use to!

Got to the cabin, fireplace was lit, a big bouquet of roses, and a card on the table. It turns out that it was my grandkids with the help of my son Carl that put this weekend escape together. That made me feel warm and fuzzy without the Mrs Had a great time, watched the Buckeyes on a nice big screen in their lounge. Saturday night, a chef with his crew came into our cabin and fixed our dinner. It felt so odd to be the center of attention,,,,, but boy ole boy,,,,was it great! Especially after they left! .................SS
