Actually, if your motor is a 1959 or older model, it WON'T have a fuel pump unless someone has put one on there already. Easiest way to check is to check the fuel fitting. If it has three prongs, then it's a pressure feed system. If it only has two, then it's a fuel pump system. <br /><br />The model number should be FD-XX, where XX is a 2-digit number.<br /><br />If you do have a fuel pump and the tank is hooked up properly, try stsmith's test to see if the pump is working. More than likely the carb is fouled up and will need a thorough disassembly and cleaning.<br /><br />- Scott
