Old 1950CX Stored for 22 years

[Low Time Bayliner]

My 1950CX Bayliner Bowrider has been stored inside a garage on its trailer since it was new. It is a 1988 model and only has 140 total hours on it. I plan on getting it ready to sell this Spring.

Any suggestions on what it should sell for?

Unfortunately, your boat is still 22 years old, and has an out-of-production OMC outdrive. Bayliners of that vintage have a horrible reputation for build quality, not all of it undeserved. What you can get for it will be largely influenced by your location, but don't get your hopes up too high. Most buyers won't give an ad for such a boat a second look if the price is as high as, say, a comparable SeaRay. Be prepared to be low-balled.

But you could get lucky and find a buyer who appreciates what you have. Good luck!
