If you saw how steep the hills are in this neighborhood especially the one to the boat ramp you’d understand. North Shore Long Island very steep hills not flat like the rest of it...
changing backing plates at 4/5 years; because that’s about how long the wheel cyls last...I have a few sets in the garage with new cyls already installed in the garage...
grease...2x enables me to see the condition of it...
BTW the permanently lubed front bearings on our 98 Jeep are 22 years old and have 180,000 miles on them with many miles on the beach in a salt air environment...never needed changing once....
works for me with no bearing failures.... to each their own....
