While snorkling in 100 ft of water I spotted what appeared to be two blades of a prop. As I desended to the bottom, It appeared to be stuck in a large boulder??? When I tried to pull it out, the boulder shook and a head and neck the size of a fench post shot back at me and this head took of my ear. After a 12 minute struggle I managed to break the neck of what I figured to be a 600 lb + snapping turtle and retrieved my ear as well as the brass prop. Here are the pics of the prop and maybe I stretched the truth a bit. Ok alot. Does anybody have any info about it and can use it?
