Your motor is the last year of that design. The next year, the Fleetwin was introduced with the F-N-R shifter, Roto-Grip throttle set up and the remote tank. They're still just as good a motor as any of the others though. Good luck with it. I think you'll get good service with it
Check the condition of the coil(s). I have a '53 15 HP fastwin. I just had to change mine due to the insulation breaking down on them. They looked like the originals so what can you expect for 57 yrs!!!
