Have you checked your plugs and also your fuel pump diaphragm, all easy to check.

I a m setting in a tent at the lake during a storm. Any way motor started good ran a little way turned it off for about 1hr . I started it and it would not idle even in high idle only way to keep it running is to keep pushing key in what to check now please. I am at lake and can't fish.

Try squeezing the primer bulb to keep it running. If that works, you've got to deal with the fuel pump next.
