Old Johnson 5hp Seahorse

I just picked up a Johnson SeaHorse 5hp Outboard. It is a one owner according to the widow. The serial number is 866446, or 886446. Im not sure of thesecond number asmy eyes arent that good. It also is marked TN-26 below the serial number. If anyone can tell me the year; and approximate value of this motor i would be most appreciative. It is in goodshape with the original paint, decals and rubber steerig cover.<br />Thanks much in advance! Miner Mike

TN 26 is a 1950-51 model

Those are nice little motors. Peter Hunn's Old Outboard Book values it somewhere between $15 and $100...$15 for a parts motor and $100 for a strong runner with no flaws.
