If you choose to get this motor up and running, keep in mind this will be a labor ( and expense) of love, you won't get your money back and it isn't an investment. Something some folks just enjoy doing....
The more i look at it, the more i have doubts about it.

If I want to do a basic tune up on it, just the fuel pump parts, diaphragm, carb gaskets and new plugs and plug wires are over $250. Distributor cap is close to double that.

You don't automatically replace this quality distributor cap!----And you need to do some shopping.----No way would I need to spend $250 on those parts.---Found the control / junction box for this motor?----Junction box mounts inside the boat.

Looking for better priced parts. Being in the desert local options are limited. For parts on the outboard I run they either came from Crowley or ebay.

Searched, but still haven't found a junction box. Found one for parts on ebay, but not a complete one. Also looking for a part number to narrow searches with.
