Hello just wondering if anyone can help me find some more info about a old knot meter that came with my sail boat.
Just looking at this thing it looks like it must be from the 70's. It is was not hooked up when i purchased the boat however the through hull fitting is still in place and previous owners had it functioning. I know its old and probably doesn't read all that accurately anyways (most paddle wheel knotmeters are ever that great) however i'd like to get it working again and find out whatever else i can about it.
Anyway all i know about it is the info i pulled of the label on the back of it, which reads as follows:
ACCU Marine Instruments
Manufactured by: Galotron Inc.
Mod. Mark II Ser. 2321 Volt: 12
They also list two addresses for the company which are:
50 Howden Road, Unit 4
Scarborough, Ont. M1R 3E4
Canada
(416) 751-4898
And,
P.O. Box 253, 821 Vernon
Manchester, Michigan 48158
U.S.A.
(313) 428-7446
Once i find my camera usb cable again i'll post some pictures.
