OLD Mirrocraft modification.. Possible?

Hello friends. Do you think it would be possible to sawzall the front metal from this boat and make it an open bow style with a side console? I love how heavy duty this thing is, but i need more fishin room. I am thinking any rigidity i take away could be compensated for when i install a floor in the front. Thanks in advance..

personally, i would not. you will get more selling as is, and buying what you want.

Hey Tashasdaddy...glad to hear from you again. The market up here in maine is swamped with cheap boats so i wouldn't be able to sell her for what i need to get. I also wouldn't be able to buy what i wanted with what i could sell it for. The hull on this thing is built so tough, i really don't want to sell it..I just need more room. How would it affect the structure in your opinion?

OK, then i would leave about 4-6" of the existing deck then run some trim around it. basically the same width of the existing gunnels in the cockpit.
