Hey guys

Just did my
Carbs
Fuel Pump
Primer Bulb
Water sep.
Termostat's
Poppit

Took her out and it was awsome. Haven't been on the boat in awhile and it ran like a raged ape. Really forgot the speed she has. Also I took off my hydro fin and the cavitation problem I was having went away. Gained "atleast" 5 MPH on top end and the boat was able to me trimmed so my boat was flying on the pad only, very cool feeling.

1)Still getting 2 PSI on idle and still overheating until I reach a certain PSI, then cools down alot once Im moving good. Can this be a head gasket leaking or the top seal for the water pickup tube? Mabey a clogged exhaust chamber in the back of the motor?

Now on the way back in I was crusing nice and then I suddenly lost power and then slowly died. Fire it back up and it sounds like its not firing on all cylinders, sounds like crap. It will start with warm up bar engaged but lower it and then put it into gear and she dies, kinda like bogging out but I know fuel delivery is %100.

This happened to me once before and it seemed like after letting it sit for the rest of the day helped and she fired up fine. Sounds to me like a electrical component heating up and failing to me.

Just to give you a brief history of my ingition system.
When I first got the boat the owner told me was only firing on 3 cylinders. Turned out to be the stator. Was fine for a long time, then my rectifier went out. So I bought a aftermarket rectifier from Mouser electronics that worked fine with my motor.

I just ordered a DVA for my meter and will check the following with the CDI guide.

Stator
Trigger
Coils
Switch Boxes

2)What else should I check while I doing this and whats this thing about the Idle Stabilizer? If I do find it and take it off my motor, how do I do it properly and do I need to adjust timing after?

Sorry for so many questions but I think it's in enough order to respond to.

Thank you once again ,
