I have a 90 hp johnson mod #V4M-105 serial # 2417646 with electric shift, that I took off the old metal lone star boat the starter and many other parts were wworn ouy.
I buddy gave me a Evenrude 40 Hp mod 40673b serial #E01979 It to is a electric shift. I swaped the engins but when I went to hook up the electrial connection in the control box I frund that they are Ideniticle ecept they are both a male connector.My thought was to cut off one of the connectors and hard wire the wires together but un fortunely The hohnson has two more wires than the Evenrude.
S0 anyone know of a Schematics or spec,s for the two engines wiring?
