I have an old 10 HP Johnson in the cellar and was wondering what year it was manufactured. It is a red color with white trim. Can I find out by using the serial# or the model# I think it might be a 1958 but not sure.
Hi Chip....to find the exact year, post the model number. You can find it on a tag on the transom bracket or look on the power head for a "soft plug" with the number on it.
That is probably the only way to find out online, unless you have some pics and some expert on old outboards recognizes it. just post the model and serial numbers and you should get your answer
