Your right about all the gear you can load. I removed and stored my full width rear seat as it was so dam far back to reach the kicker and I wanted more room . I take a bit of crab gear and shrimp pots out and stil have lots of room I have pullout slides under the bow so I can keep things there and still get to them.. Sure looks like a Holiday I think same hull altho I have the V5 hull???? I think
I see we have the same birth year. The Last Dollar is a flat bottom (Check out the photo link). A couple of year latter they brought out the V bottom. In heavy going it doesn?t make much difference, just up on a plane (makes you save gas when it?s choppy).
I had the brochure for a lot of years and well you know (Honey Have you see it?). I thought it was a Chieftain but based on North Beach?s boat I assumed it is a Suncheif. Last Dollar is all sung in it?s winter cover and I can?t get to the registration. The ID plate was a piece of foil and has long ago disappeared.;)

Last Dollar. If I was young again and had the boat I now call mine,I would use it till the engine goes then restore or remodel it I would without a doubt build a bracket . Fill in the transom and run two Suzuki 120 s on the back. I see to many e-teck motors at the local marina, that have blown blocks. I only live 5 blocks from there and have sold boats at boat shows for them for a year or so. I would love to see this big 22 Holiday with twin 120s . I would also have a 9.9 4 stroke kicker to troll with. Lord knows I have spent enough on other boats to have done this earlier but was never familiar with the Aluminum Boats before. Enjoy the winter as im sure you are into it big time. I have a younger Sister that lives in Niagara Falls NY.

Wow a pair of 120s on the back of a 22', got to fly. When the motor still had the original lower unit I was getting 47 mph clocked by radar. One year I forgot to change the lower unit grease and that was the year a seal failed. In the spring I had a split gear case, tried to get it welded but it finally failed. I found a used lower unit for a 115 hp but it didn't have the internal baffling in the exhaust section that the 135hp had and the gear ratio was 2 to1. the 134hp was 1.985 to 1. The boat now tops out at 35 to 37.

I have been looking for a scrap boat with a good motor to upgrade, my motor has almost 40 years of use. FYI the HP rating plate listed 100hp maximum HP, ( I think that was the biggest outboard you could get in 1962).
