Old Rude Lightwin...

First and formost I thank each and every contributer in this forum for the extensive knowledge U r all so willing to share!!! Might not seem like much but it helps guys like me out tremendesly!!!
I have a serial no. 4206s-e01598 from an Rude Lightwin... any idea what year??? I would like to do small repairs [impeler replacement-needs a fuel pump] so if someone could recomend a sorce for an extensive repair manual??? Thank U!!!

4206 is a 1972 4hp.

The 1937 engine is a 4207, Daddy. Brother Ken read it off the wrong line.

I get 1972 4hp from Marinshoppen for the 4206, agreeing with Imported..

I would normally recommend kencook.com for a manual, but if they confused the model numbers they might send the wrong manual.

Try ebay.

My list also says 4206 is a 1937 1.4hp. But the next line down says a 4206 is a 1972 4hp. I didn't notice the 1937 listing at first. But a 1937 certainly doesn't have a fuel pump, which he says he needs, so it's gotta be the 1972 version. Looks like Evinrude made a duplication of numbers, huh?

that's what i thought, i missed the lower number. Frank i new you weren't wrong, i wanted to know how i got it wrong.

Actually, my master list of OMC models shows it as a 1937 1.4 hp AND a 1972 4 hp. However, I don't know the source of my file, but it looks very professional and is usually right on.

Now that I think of it, it must be the same one one guys have.

The ***EVINRUDE*** on the side of my motor cover is the same style lettering as my 1975 70hp so I do believe it to be a 72... KENCOOK.com is where I will try... Thank u very much fellas!!!
