I Am Thinking Of Buying A Old Skeeter Fishing Boat It Is In Fair Shape But Leaks Im Thinking Of Redoing The Bottom Can Just Sand And Apply Resin To The Bottom And Paint It By Old I Mean A 60's Model If I Buy I Will Post Pictures And Request More Info I Just Need To Know What Cost I Am Looking At It Is 14' Long X 32'' Wide

Could you expand upon the leaking part. Does it have a crack or a hole?

What do you mean by apply resin to the bottom? Are you thinking of just coating the bottom with a resin or are you referring to fairing?

If the boat is leaking then chances are you're in for a new transom, stringers and deck.

I'm going by what the owner said it only leaks a little. I have not seen the boat. These are great little fishing boats and I have always wanted one. I just need to know and guess cost to redo the bottom by what ever means. as a haggling point. After i purchase it I will inspect and take pictures and get back with the board to figure the best way to proceed.
