I picked up an old Airguide speedometer at a yard sale today...0-35 mph. It's missing the pitot pickup that attaches to the boat. I found a universal one on-line for $12. Will that work ok? How accurate are those speedos?
Most any pitot will work some of the old airguides had a extra air chamber to steady the readings but would work with out it, most were about 90% accurate when new, you could make them read high or low by changing the size of the hole in the pitot tube
