Re: old thunderbird reverse v-drive boat what to do?

Looks like a Chevy big block of some size to me. Hard to tell how much it's worth without knowing the specs on the engine, that could be some old truck engine somebody threw in with a blower vent on top to make it look cool, or it could be a real nice motor that somebody built. I'd take a guess it's more likely the latter. You might get up to 5 grand for a good used engine if you rebuild it, but it's really hard to tell you anything from pictures and no info.

actually the numbers on the intake manifold come back as an old thunderbird motor 383,410 430 cubic inch. intake manifold has a part number of edg-9425-a. i was just wondering if anyone would know excactly which motor they used in these old boats? the motor is definatly built for performance, not just a bunch of bolt on parts. it has a cam in it for sure.
