Yep, I'm still here, don't post as much as I lurk or I would be catching up with JB..

Every once in a while I will post something and give a few replies to some.

Thanks for wondering.

Greatest loss ever was when Derwood quit posting. That was one funny and clever Dude.8)

Still here, haven't even had the time to lurk recently. Heatwave in the UK causing me problems at work and last night's shift was a doozy: 70,000 plastic bottles (empty) strewn across a three-lane blacktop just before rush-hour, all thanks to a furrin truck driver falling asleep at the wheel :devil:

Anybody seen the other Brits recently? Nos4r2, RPJS, DaveGibson etc etc?

Talking about old timers I'm sure I joined around 2001 but it feels like last century 8)

Re: Old timers time to check in

Cheers techno, seems to be difficult to get the time these days. Either out at work or just started on my new project: another car! never seem to get the time to get out on the boat these days either. The local lakes are a holiday blackspot and are full of selfish tourists. The local councils have imposed a strict 10mph speed limit on all the lakes bar one and that one is so busy it's hard to find an open spot of water :devil:

The new project is fun though: a Fiat Coupe from 1997. Left standing for months it has few "issues" but was bought for pennies really ($600 equivalent) which ain't bad for a 20v car that was built by the same people who build Ferraris! The only thing Fiat ever got to touch was the badge (and I've already taken that off 8) )

Keeping my eyes open on the roads for Nos4r2 but no luck as yet: he's in for a shock if I do seem him :}

Take care and keep yer head doon!

Re: Old timers time to check in

been a bit busy myself, now I am on vacation . spent the past 5 days down in rio chico now I am back in caracas, thusday I head back down to rio chico to do a bit more fishing.
I did make an offer on a 3 bedroom2bath house with 300ft of canal frontage in the heart of los canales de rio chico. I hope they accept the 40K but I am sure they will.
so I have been a bit busy , life is going faster or the circles are just getting smaller. I aint sure which.:)
oh and it took less than 5 dollars to fill the jeep tank, 95 octane premium unleaded at 16 cents a gallon.
funny thing its refined in houston Tx.
