older model evinrude

i inhereted an evinrude outboard motor. it is a <br />V4 on the block there are only one set of numbers.<br />they are 310532. can any one tell me what year and horse power it is. any other pertainate info would be appriecated.

That nr. (310532) looks like maybe a part nr. Remove the coweling and look on port (left) side top of the engine and you'll see a shiney welsch (freeze) plug with a nr. stamped on it. Give us that nr.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
