older volvo wire harness

I'm looking into maybe getting a repower to a 350 with michigan motorz partial engine package. they can include a 10 pin round engine wire harness. my boat has a 11 pin square harness... Does anyone make an adapter or what would be the best way to go about this? I'd like to sell the old harness with the motor as a total package

the round plug is Mercruiser, the trapezoidal plug is Volvo Penta.

I would put the Volvo Penta harness on your new motor.

You could do either a short 10 pin harness like this one, MerCruiser Style Wiring Pigtail - Mercury Plug, Instrument Side 12" - CP Performance

Or you could ran a compleat wiring harness from the dash to the engine, Universal Mercury Plug Harness 20 FT - CP Performance

Can you still buy an older volvo square harness? I don't really want to re-wire my entire dash with a new harness. Just want it to plug n play as much as possible...

what is wrong with the volvo harness from your prior motor?

It is available for about $100. go to the volvo penta store.

not knowing what motor you have, I looked up the harness for my 271C

Verify the part number for your motor. some motors also used 841822.

what happened to your original harness?
