Oldest daughter from Japan here!!!!

And I took allll 3 days off!!! With her bf, nice kid, they made lunch, now we all crashed, so much to catch up on!!!! Yayyyy!!!

oops posted to wrong spot, should be dockside - had a blast looking at old pics, made new pics, dinner, a great time - 2 more nights

I know the joy...my daughter was in Japan for 3 years. Was she in the military? My daughter was in Okinawa. Her husband is in the military and spent most of his time in Iraq so it was a lonely time for her. I will have to commend her for using her time wisely she went to college there and graduated with double majors.

She and bf just left , she a UCLA grad in linguistics, teaches English to Japanese, right around Osaka, her and bf started school, doing well, shes also fluent in German(I started her at 8 or 9) and the ironic part is, shes half Iranian, LOL - our family is sooooooo not the norm , LOL What a great kid, so independent, very respectful bf, and a great head on her shoulders - oh and yes she was a handful years back, but she 24 now and actually remembers and repeats what I used to bug her about??? And we showed bf all the guns, she's a GREAT shot.
Was awesome, so sad to see her go, but she knows my door is always open
