These are some of the motors at an Outboard museum in Rhinelander, Wi.
How about that hand operated one. Sking anyone?

With a hand crank engine and a 10 year old you may not get anywhere, but you would get great fuel economy.

the hand operated one was a troller. there was one on ebay a year or so ago. i remember that one of the members, father had one.
