Hi there,My omc 2.3l was running like a dream for the past few months until the last day,i was putting her into forward gear and was waiting for the clunk but it never came,i moved the trottle forward more and could hear clicking coming from the outdrive,the revs grew up then finally with one loud cluck she engaged,i got to the slip way and same kept happening,of course i was trying my best to get her engaged before the revs grew,just to get outta the water!!!going astern is no prob,im thinking myself cable adjustment as i have not adjusted it since i got her,and heard it has to b adjusted every 50 hours!!!
