Does any body know about this engine<br />I have no clue can I even get parts????<br />what would the milage be pushin a 3000lb boat<br />just rebuilt 58 hours on it <br /><br /> thanks. Bogii

Hi Bogii:<br /><br />Any OMC/Johnson/Evinrude service department will have, or can get parts for your sea drive... No problem...<br /><br /> If you ever need parts just supply the person at the service department of your choice with the engines model number... <br /><br />As for milage, its difficult to say but at optimum cruse speed, don't expect to see much more than 2 to 3 MPG... This will also depend on the sea and weather conditions...

Hey Bogii...welcome to the forum.<br /><br />Could ya' give us a year or model #? If it was just rebuilt I would say chances are real good that parts are available for the rig. ie. ignition system, cooling system and the like. Your best milage will probably come somewhere a little above mid range say 3600 to 4000rpms. If I got that messed up someone please correct me. Don't know what kind of boat you have her on.<br /><br />Jim

Hey outboard jim the engine is 1986 230hp commecial sea drive its pushing a 23foot sea ox<br />3500lb<br /> thanks bogii.
