I have the same problem!!!! I had a crack on the outside of the block under the intake,,and on the intake itself..I took it to my boat shop and they welded it, then jb welded over that to be safe,,now waterinthe oil,,whats the odds of the block busting on the inside?

You should start a new thread with that question, but the chances of the block cracking internally are about as good as it cracking externally.
