OMC 4.3L Cobra (1989) -engine does not start

The OMC engine has properly not been running for a year or two - it (now)turns over easily and the starter seams to have plenty of power.

But no sign of any ignition sound wise- what are the step by step actions you need to take ?

Check for 12V at the + side of the coil with the key in the 'run' posititon......
If yes.....
Pull a plug wire & check for spark......
If no spark, I would suspect the points are glazed over, when was the last tune up done?.....​
