Omc 4.3l won’t stay running after 60 sec

I have rebuilt carb professionally, replaced fuel pump, anti siphon value, fuel line, fuel separator and still same thing starts runs for about 45-60 sec and dies. Pumped throttle as its dieing revs up but dies again. Restarts with throttle right away but dies same as before can anyone please advise

Check fuel pressure

So you can be 90% sure its not the pump , but its not the only thing involved in getting fuel into the motor . If you can check fuel pressure at the carb inlet and verify there is enough pressure as the engine is dying you can eliminate a lot of stuff

Starter and linkage were replaced recently at the boat shop could it be something like the ESA switch they didn’t adjust properly? Unfortunately they sold out so I have no mechanic to try and call

Sounds to me like its sucking air from somewhere. But with an electric FP, hmmm stuck needle valve. Blow some air though the fuel inlet on the carb. Listen for a pop as it builds pressure.
