OMC 9.5 Turtle Motor: Does anyone recognize these parts? 1966 MQ-12

I just got a 1966 Johnson MQ-12....short shaft. The leg is removed from an un-completed impeller replacement episode. The motor came with this gasket and plastic tube; neither of which looks familiar. I've looked over the parts diagrams and remain puzzled.

Does anyone recognize what they are; where they are from?

These parts are off a 20 / 25 / 35 HP motor

the gasket appears to be a water jacket cover gasket from a different motor-likewise the extension tube.

The extension tube is for the top of an impeller housing.

These parts are for the big 20 /25 / 30 /35 HP motor.---Water cover for the cylinder head and tube fits above the water pump on these motors.--Do not fit the 9.5 HP
