OMC battery cables

[restornator]

i want to know the gauge of the battery cables used in wiring harnesses for 25hp Johnnyrudes, 69-76. I am attempting to repair the control wiring harness, which is obsolete.

Re: OMC battery cables

I believe just standard #4 battery cables. That's what I always use.

Battery cables available this web site. Simply click on "Marine Store" link at top left and enter battery cable in search window...

I currently use 15' of #4 battery cables with my '88 30hp. No problems at all.

Re: OMC battery cables

Go to nymarine.ca. He makes old duplicate harnesses and he might mention the gauge size there.
