I would follow Clanton's advice and change the odd one to be the same as the others. He's got years of experience and would not try and mislead you.

Re: OMC carburator jetting location

I've seen some of the motors that have the timing retarded. One place in particular retards them 4 degrees. It just kills the power on a looper.

With todays fuel I would do as suggested and put them all according to the book as long as the motor is running (and set up) properly.

Good luck!

Sounds good to me I'll give it a try.One thing that I didn't mention the motor ran great at part and wide open throttle it just idled rough and would cut off at idle sometimes.I'll try to get it back together and run it this weekend and let ya'll know how it does,Thanks again for the advice.

Re: OMC carburator jetting location

Hi again,We have had so much rain here in Fl I just got my carbs back together.I think I found were my different jets came from  when I was putting the carbs together I noticed one carb had a smaller throat than the other five? Is this carb off a 200? and will it hurt the motor to run one smaller carb? If not should I put the jets that came out of it back? (one more thing just to make sure-the 66 jet goes on top and 30 in middle? feel stupid asking but lost my cheat sheet :( .Thanks soooo much for the help :)

Hey all,I went ahead and ran the boat with matching jets and the one smaller carb and it runs much better than before but I'm scared it will lean out that one cyl?Should I put the old jets back in(35-42-62D)or do yall think it will be ok to run one smaller size carb(throat is about 1/8" smaller than other 5 carbs)with maching jets(30-66-64D)?If it won't hurt the motor I'll leave it on as it runs fine.If it will I'll try to find a matching carb. Thanks for the help :)

clanton !!!! I have that engine now :) LMAO
Just kidding - my question (similar problem) (E225PXCCE) V6 6 carbs rebuilt did not track air jet size or location.
Which location Idle or Intermediate uses the larger orifice. My Engine has #32's and #36 jets. Also (1) of the jets is substantially smaller ID than the #32's
any Idea what that about ?????
Thanks "klbusbee" I will go back and check carb part #
NOT sure I have had this much fun in awhile :)
