Hi recently purchased this boat and it has an OMC cobra3.0L (4 cyl GM).. its runs good, no problems i can see.. but i did notice a water drip coming from the bottom side of the manifold.
i couldnt tell where exactly ( couldnt get my head in under it and didnt have a mirror) but its
drips a drop every 5 seconds or so.. is this something i should be concerned about.
i took the boat out the day i bought it to see how it ran and next week i went through a good tuneup, when changing the oil it did have water in it! I thought it may have come from a leak under the outdrive that was leaking into the boat
and the water level got pretty high, high enough
to reach the oil drain and i thought it may have gotten in that way..( didn't check it while running and forgot to turn on bildge). Ive had it out a 3/4 times since then and havent seen any water in oil.. but im still concerned about the drip..

tks
jim

If it drips every five seconds your just going to have to get a mirrow or some other way to see where it is coming from. There is a water drain on the bottom side to drain manifold to prevent frezzing in winter. If it a saltwater boat could be rusted thru.
Good luck
