OMC Cobra Ford 2.3L Head info

Help! I have a cracked head on my 89 OMC Ford 2.3L engine and can't find a replacement. Does anyone know if there is an equivalent automotive head that can be used or where I could find one.<br /><br />Thanks

Post your question here and you are sure to get some good feedback. If I had to guess, I would start looking at the Mustang.

I have a 87 2.3L and have done a lot of research on the auto versus marine engine. Get you a head from a earlier model Mustang or Ranger. As long as it isn't Fuel Injected it will work. Make sure you use your camshaft from the old head(way dif than the auto cam).<br />Check out Doug Russell Marine , that's where I get a lot of my 2.3L parts.
