Perfect, that jig "A" (tool) is nothing more than a piece of pipe cut to exactly 7-13/64"

Tried making it a little bigger...the pic in the manual is kinda small....but you get the idea...you measure from the machined surface that the shift rod cover is bolted to....to the top of the shift rod head.....

Us Cobra guys gotta stick together!

Wrong Sorry.. but you measure from the mating surface of the housing itself not the shift rod cover surface.

Wrong Sorry.. but you measure from the mating surface of the housing itself not the shift rod cover surface.

I said the machined surface that the cover is bolted to...which is the same height as the mating surface....look at where whey have the special tool in the pic...the machined surface right next to the shift rod cover....
