I am putting together my 1979 175 HP omc. I have the crank in and have started to tighten the connection rods. I have a 12 PT 5/16 socket, but it seems loose. Is there a special type of socket that I need to use. HELP!!!!
Is your socket split or cracked? It happens sometimes if you took them out with a standard socket (non-impact) and an air wrench. Sometimes even by hand. I'm sure all you need is a trip to the tool store.<br /><br />Good luck!
