i would just like to see where these mounting bolts are, on the transom for a 5.0 mercuiser, i have a 185 bayliner capri 1987. hope someone has this?

look here then scroll down Don S posted a pic of the OMC you said you had. The pic is a view from inside the boat with the engine and Y-pipe removed.

tony, for a cadet, and a rope handler you've posted quite a bit. go back and read the post for new members. read what people have to say about the topics you've already posted before you post more. LIKE I SAID YOU CAN GET A DEGREE EQUAL TO COLLEGE HERE YOU CAN'T GET ANYWHERE ELSE. these guys give freely to help us, and love it, abuse it and they will ignore you.
