I've looked around for an answer to to my issue and can't seem to find a solution.
I have a Johnson 25hp outboard (1984) with the OMC dual lever control box beside the console.
I purchased new cables and installed both the forward/reverse cable and the throttle cable.I'm having an issue adjusting the throttle cable.
When I push the throttle forward on the omc box, it only goes half way and then is really tense, can't push it any further.
I don't know how to adjust the cable so it has more travel and would allow my omc throttle to be pushed all the way up.
Any assistance would be awesome.
