OMC Ebay Good Deal Candidate

Found another choice candidate for my Best Deals on Ebay. BUT, got to wondering if the "Little Ding" as was mentioned really causes a problem. I myself would not care for it but does it matter? The Bid on this Beauty which is a complete Outdrive Vintage late 60's I imagine is $600.00. Have also included an overall view of the unit for effect. She has Battle Scars

I wouldn't be concerned about that ding too much.... you can sort of work it back round with a drift and a hammer from the inside... and then as the outer part inevitably chips off a bit, you can build it back up with JB and dremel the groove nice- just did one- as long as the oring has a nice seat it'll be fine
