hi guys....i searched but couldnt find.
got a weird problem with a omc electric shift....
the shifter interlock was bypassed due to the fact it was shot.
after the switch was taken out the boat shifted well and ran well in forward and reverse at lower rpms.
under load testing......the drive would disengauage unedr load at between 3000 and 3500 rpm........a quick throttle back and re ingauge and it was fine till under strain load.....(semi rapid accelleration) where it would slip out of gear again.
the shifter inturrupt switch is no longer avalable. so before we put in a toggle switch, i want to find out if the interrupt is the porblem for sure.
any body have suggestions on this?
cheers
