There's a bearing inside of the connection between the upper and lower gear case. On the front of your outdrive, there should be a hole with a plastic "nut." Hex head, with a slot usually. Open that up, and you'll find a grease zerk in there - load it up. (Red arrow in the photo)

Well I got everything fixed and now the temp holds steady at 160 so all good there. But of course it’s a boat and one can never stop tinkering. Boat is a formula 233 with a 351w. I’m getting just under 30mph WOT. I feel like the boat may be underpropped. The prop says PR-115 on it??? Anyone have any ideas what that stands for? Maybe 15 pitch? Cruise speed is around 25 mph @ 3200-3400 RPM and when I go to WOT it jumps up to over 5k RPM without much difference in speed.

I am certainly not a prop expert (that is a complete and complicated science all by itself) but my reading up on the subject is that 5k is too high for a ford v8 , you wanna be around 4200 at WOT , try adding some more pitch AFTER confirming what exactly you have on there now while keeping loaded (weight) what you normally run with.
