Hello all,
I have been looking through the threads regarding service manuals to get some thoughts on what I should acquire for my "new to me" motor. I have a specific question regarding the manual I am looking at. Fortunately my local library carries a couple of the SELOC and Clymers books for my model year, but I would like to get my hands on a actual service manual to aid in my ownership. The motor I have is a 1986 Evinrude 60hp VRO (E60TLCDS), I have had very little luck finding the manual for my motor, but there are a few manuals specific to 1987. Both the 1986 and 1987 manuals share the same OMC product number, so I assume I'm safe using the 1987 version.
Thoughts?
Sorry if this is a na?ve questions, but this is all new to me.
Thanks

Re: OMC Evinrude manual

The "factory" publications website is the one previously noted: outboardbooks.com. Ken Cook has made all the OMC/Bombardier manuals for years and years and years.
