I have a 1989 OMC cobra 5.0 and in the exhaust bellows on the lower unit there are little holes all along the bottom of it. I was wondering if anyone knew if this is normal or do I need to replace the bellows. Someone told me that aftermarket exhaust bellows have holes in them to allow the exhaust to escape faster as not to cause carbon build up. I was wondering if this is also true. Thanks if anyone can help me on this topic.
