OMC Hi-vis equivalent

1992 OMC 5.0 Ford , In the OEM service manual they obviously recommend an OMC product for Vert drive lubricant. I was wondering what oil is being used in the modern day shipyards for OMC vert drive lube? Thanks...

Most of us like Mercury Hi Performance gear lube.

Any good marine gear lube designed for lower units is ok.

BE ABSOLUTELY SURE you follow the OEM manufacturers recommended oil fill procedure.
