The starter will crank the engin on first try. If you stop cranking after 20 - 30 sec. if engine does not start and then try again all you hear is a click from the sol. . If you wait 10 to 15 min. the starter will crank again. Have replaced Bat. cables with new larger cables and cleaqned all contacts. Checked Bat. under load and it is fully chaarged. What next? If a new starter is needed where do I find one.

Also when the engine is running it will not plane the boat and sounds like it is realy loaded down. Fuel pump and fuel flow is good.
The carb. has been rebuilt. Could it be the prop? The boat is a 16 foot cris craft bowrider. The boat was acquired used and we have no idea what prop is on it.
